TOEFL is a mandatory test to be taken for
admission to any course in the USA and Canada.
Some universities in the UK and New Zealand
also accept the TOEFL score. The TOEFL
test measures English language proficiency
in reading, listening, and writing and is
a computer based test in most parts of the
world.
A paper based test is provided in regions
where computer access is limited. TOEFL measures
the ability of non-native speakers of English
to use and understand North American English
as it is spoken, written, and heard in college
